Organs

I wonder why I thought it would be safer to
Exchange words with you
Than touch and body fluids
Himalayan food and conversation
Maybe a museum full of mummies
and some kissing

Even the deepest penetration stays outside the organs

But with each poem it is as if I’m handing you
A small knife and a plate
So you can extricate an angry liver, a fearful kidney and a bloody
beating
heart

  4. Oh my god Francesca, you are so amazing.
Adding you to Facebook and then finding out you have a blog is probably the best thing I ever did!
This poem really hit so deep, it's so true, you're so astounding.
